The FRIO wallets come in a wide range of styles and sizes ranging from a wallet that will carry one insulin pump to the extra large version which is ideal for people who are travelling or going on an expedition. This option can carry up to ten insulin pens or a total of twenty, three millilitre vials or a mixture of the two.

Our FRIO wallet has a set of crystals inside and when the wallet is placed into cool water the crystals react in a way that makes them turn into a gel which has a cooling effect on the contents of the wallet, this effect will last for nearly two days and then the gel turns back into crystals, you can then repeat the process.
The FRIO wallets are extremely easy to use and the process of evaporation of the gel causes the cooling effect that is needed for the wallets to successfully cool the insulin. When the wallet is wet after dipping in water you can dry it off with a towel and it will remain dry. The wallets interior is water proof so you do not need to worry about the contents become damp or wet.
The FRIO wallets have been designed so that they are compatible with most of the major manufacturers insulin pens and pumps and the standard refill cartridges that are currently available around the world. They have been tested by the necessary departments in both the united states and the United Kingdom, so they have got all the necessary recommendations and are approved for sale in the two countries.
